I visited the VIP CINEPOLIS movie theatre last night and saw "TROY". Great movie, and great place!
I lived in California for 12 years, but never saw such a place. The seats were extremely comfortable, reclinable, plush, leather...you can recline them so far back that you are laying down as if IN BED! First class stuff.
Other nice props were that reps come around to take your orders for Sushi, wine, or other gourmet food.
CINEPOLIS was brought to Costa Rica by a Mexican group. You pay about twice as much as you would pay for a "standard" theatre, but it is worth it.
If you go, just be sure to get there 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the movie. If you get there "late", meaning right about start time, chances are you will not be able to sit alongside your loved one, and that would be terrible. Fortunately, we were the first "in the door" and got to choose the "best seats".
